Finding the right home to suit your needs and desires can be complicated. There’s plenty to consider including:
-
Accommodation, facilities and services
-
Location and neighbourhood
-
Proximity to family, friends and your established community
-
Ambience and environment
-
Opportunities to carry on with your existing hobbies and interests and indeed take up new ones
-
Fees and charges
These are all important factors to think about, and we strongly recommend discussing your preferences with your family and loved ones early and openly so that they are fully aware of your wishes. We also suggest visiting and spending time with us before making a decision, so that you can experience first hand, the warm, friendly, respectful community spirit that weaves its way through the beautiful buildings and restful gardens that we’re proud to call home.
Three steps to moving in
1. Assessment
Before applying to move in, you’ll need an Aged Care Assessment to help work out exactly what you’ll need and the level of care you want us to provide. These free assessments take place at a time and location that’s most convenient to you.
2. Financial advice
There are different fees and payment recommendations, depending on your personal financial circumstances, therefore its important to get independent, professional financial advice to find how much you may need to pay, the best payment method for you, and how to plan for a life where many of your pervious expenses are now taken care of.
3. Apply to move in
Simply call or email us and make an appointment to come and visit, experience our community for yourself, meet current residents and discuss the application and moving in* process.
